ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY (ART) ATTORNEY

EGG DONATION

ILLINOIS EGG DONATION ATTORNEY

Whether you are looking for an experienced Attorney to draft an Egg Donation Agreement or to review one - I CAN HELP!

Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) refers to the area of Egg Donation, Sperm Donation and/or Surrogacy and is becoming one of the fastest growing options for family building, yet there are few attorneys who have experience in this area of law.  Given the sensitive nature of these legal agreements, it is critical that clients seek out counsel experienced in Egg Donation law and Egg Donation Agreements that can advise them accordingly.

I have been practicing in the area of ART law for over 15 years and as a fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys I stay abreast of evolving legal and ethical standards in the area of drafting and reviewing Egg Donation Agreements.

A properly drafted Egg Donor Agreement is a contract between the Donor (and her spouse if she is married) and the recipient (and their spouse) that clearly sets out the intentions of the parties at the time of the donation. Most agreements are approximately 20-25 pages in length and a well-written contract will state, clearly, among other things, that it is the expectation of both the donor and the recipient that no rights whatsoever be retained by the donor to the eggs, the embryos and/or to the child or children resulting from the cycle.

Whether I represent the Recipient or the Donor in an Egg Donation Agreement, my client(s) can proceed with a level of confidence knowing that they been advised by an ART-experienced legal professional on matters related to the Donor's relinquishment of parental right, Recipient's assumption of all parental rights, donor compliance, assumption of risks, specific protection from liability issues, future contact, and the specifics as to when and how a donor will be compensated.
